Parking cars before parc ferme?

So yet again a Mclaren finishes a race and parks their car in the first or second corner to not waste an entire lap of fuel to be deemed "legal" in the post race fuel sampling. From what i recal the qualifying rule was adjusted after Canada when Hamilton tried to push his car around the track(lol) and button parked it even before him, but no mention of it in post race. I'm not ranting on Mclaren here because Ferrari have parked cars on more than one occasion to the same effect but I personally think it should be a violation to not make it back to parc ferme under you're own power in qualy/race. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

It would be good if there was a symbolic penalty, something like 10 000€ for not making it in the pits... But then again, they should take the samples before the race and seal the tank. Let them race on fumes more, we could see some surprises at the last lap..

I think that's more of a qualifying rule rather than a race rule.

The reason for parking is so that if the officials want to test the fuel, they have enough to take samples.. Not sure but i think that can be done in any session..

In qualifying, cars have to be able to make it back to the pits "under their own steam" or they will be penalised.
Doesn't seem to be the case after the race though.
