When I got to connect to an internet game in GTR evo, the internet connection for my whole house (about 5 pcs) stops working until I exit the game and reset the router.

The router is a Linksys WRT54G.

I dont have this problem with Race 07.

Is this a known issue?
Anyone else having trouble with it?

This actually happened to our network when my roommate connected his PS3 to the network. It would kick all our computers off and halt the network for about 5min. We fixed it by forwarding the correct ports to the PS3. I'm not sure that will work in your case...as far as I know Race 07 and Evo use the same networking. You could try forwarding 27015 (steam's main port).

TCP+UDP 48942 - 48957

UDP 48958-48973 and 26900-26907
