Off Center Wheel

Hi guys, Wondering if you can help. My Logitech EX Steering Wheel (which is very old) that I got a month ago Apparently never used Has broke. Its off center so lets say its at 100% right in real life but only 60 precent in the game. Another problem is that sometimes its straight so you can be happily going along at 160mph and then BAM your center changes. That is really a problem when it comes to cornering as you then have to take the corner 90% slower. After a bit of weaving it returns to the center. This is really affecting my enjoyment of my sim games and any help would be greatly appriciated, thanks!
