Trying to figure out how to fix a weird tree shadow problem when I have no idea what I am doing.
Lol, yep, I have been slowly reading. There is a good forum with lots of help too. I have to be patient.Aw.. Whattabout the Help button, near the top on your monitor...
Thank you for the tip. I have no idea how to do that, but you have given me an idea of what to look for.Recall that issue on a track. I completely removed those object from getting loaded in the .trk file.
My guess is it is a rf conversion trying to have a fix ground tree shadow from the horizontal plane and a variable longer tree shadow from the vertical placed texture.
As you can see this object is called Tree_Shadow07.
Open the .trk file in a text editor and search for that.
You will find something like this:
Instance= Tree_Shadow07.
{
MeshFile= Tree_Shadow07..gmt CollTarget=True HATTarget=False
}
Ether delete that or even easier add a couple of // in front of the instance=
I like to do all the lines as it makes it more clear after a week but not really needed.
// Instance= Tree_Shadow07.
//{
// MeshFile= Tree_Shadow07..gmt CollTarget=True HATTarget=False
//}
