Last week I got a new computer chair from Staples. I then ordered lockable wheel casters ('SCC' thru Amazon) , grip-ring stem, 7/16" diameter, 7/8" length, set of 5 for $37.19. Received and installed yesterday. (Have to measure... there are different sizes)
Wow, when these are locked, this chair will not move. The new wheels are for hardwood floors, and it is carpet in the computer room, so it's even hard to slide the chair without the brakes on. I'm thinking there will be no problem with the chair moving back when I jam on the brake pedal.
