live server status php code to wordpress widget

i write a php code that reads the liveracers api http://liveracers.com/LiveDrivers.svc/RaceDepartment?format=xml

and shows who's online on the server and all the infos that you want.

so there's someone that can help me to convert this simple script to a widget for wordpress?or joomla
so i dont waste too much time learning all plugins documentation.
rigth now i use a widget that allow to past the php code into it but i think it's very slow when you load a page.
