lights not showing up with older maps

Had a look around couldnt find this problem posted.
If I load an older version (BTBV6) of my track....
A stripped down version of only road, terrain and fences...all stock btb textures and xpacks, ( well pretty sure they all stock)

The lights option is missing from the object menu.

If I create a new track they are there.

Any ideas ?

just updated to BTB V7.05, still same problem...
