Le Mans - can't run enough cars?

Hi people!

With the Le Mans Classic going on right now, i made complete race weekends for Grid 1 to 6. I run P&G, but i think its the same issue no matter what:

So i have Grid 4 with some 45 cars in it. They all show up nicely when looking and choosing cars. And then i choose the Le Mans 2016-track (base LM 2009). The i go to the slider for number of cars.

It says the track can handle 60 cars, but after 35 the numbers go red. If i still go to 60, the game starts fine but the last 25 cars are doubles...

How can i race with 45 cars? I have a highspec pc, with all options uptop (except for visible cars).
