Is this game for me? Plus: FE questions

Hi guys,
i'm a big fan of Assetto Corsa Competizione. I also like Raceroom. I spend quite some time with the original Assetto Corsa as well. Recently rFactor 2 has caught my attention because of the official Formula E e-sports events. Now i'm thinking about getting this title. I'm mainly interested in the Formula E but also the DPI mod that came out sometime last year. However, i'm wondering what this game really offers and if its the right choice for me.

1. I'm an offline racer. How does the rFactor 2 AI hold up? Is it any good? How does it work on mod tracks or on multiclass races? That has always been an issue in the original Assetto Corsa.

2. How many Formula E tracks are available in rF2? Is there an official dlc or a mod track pack?

3. Will i be able to do my own custom championships? Can i change the AI cars, driver names etc. ingame? I read about some possibilities but that sounded rather complicated.

4. Could you guys recommend the best mod tracks or cars for me? Is there anything special besides Formula E and DPI? I'm not interested in Formula 1 though.

Thanks for any help.

1. See https://www.racedepartment.com/threads/rf2-worth-for-singleplayer-only.182937/

2. FE official tracks with 2nd generation car https://store.steampowered.com/itemstore/365960/detail/1010/
FE mod tracks https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198241155516/myworkshopfiles/?appid=365960

3. Again, see https://www.racedepartment.com/threads/rf2-worth-for-singleplayer-only.182937/

4. See the rF2 Steam workshop https://steamcommunity.com/app/365960/workshop/

My summary would be that if FE is where your interests lie, then rF2 is your only viable choice at this time. If FE is only of passing interest, then you can probably get by with AC mods.
