Sounds I would like some help to understand the fonsecker tutorial

Hi guys, I've just completed the "AC audio pipeline 1.9 pdf" tutorial. And now I would like to know how to gather samples from youtube videos and how to put them into FMOD.
So I watched a little bit of this :

But everything is way too fast for a newbie like me, and sadly I don't understand anything of what is he doing.
So I would like a clear explaination from you guys, describing me what is is doing and how. And eventually some tricks.
