I am curious about making an old gauge cluster alive with maybe some electronic components?

So this came off of a 1989 Ford F-150 w/ a 5 speed manual V8. Now it does have that spinning thing on the back which adds up miles to the odometer, and it moves the speedometer needle up when in motion. Maybe a motor w/ the electronic controller could control it and register the velocity from the game to the module to the motor, and the rest of the electronic components on the cluster can be controlled as well, like the revolutions per minute, fuel, voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. Any ideas to make this very well be possible? (now i think of it, it sounds kinda simple to construct from my idea, yet i am nowhere near an expert of making anything)
