How To get Forza 7 / Horzion 4 to work with Next Level Motion V3

Hi all,

As anyone got there Next Level Motion V3 working with the Forza games?

All other games I've tryed just work find over the USB cable.

But for the Forza games you need to do some manual setup with IP ports etc.

So I'm guessing I need to use the network port on the V3? When I plugged in a network cable the seat move just sort of sagged and stopped holding me up.

Anyone got some info on this.

I've tried to follow this guide:

But I get no options to change IP numbers in Forza 7.

@lloyd: Forza's menus aren't always that intuitive. It is often hard to tell that you can write over an ip address or even supply one on the correct line item.

Cheers @fwyflyer - don't know mate, i tried clicking and typing, using the arrow keys etc. but couldn't change anything.

I think I need some for of network connection?

Yes, I have both games working on my v3 motion. You do need to change Data IP Out in-game to 4123. Exactly as guide says. It’s really the only thing you need to do.

Its confusing in game menus, but to actually change the numbers you have to highlight data ip out field and push ‘another button’ to actually edit the numbers. look at the bottom of the screen to see what button to push so you can start typing 4123 in, it will literally tell you “push ___ to edit” or something, only appears when highlighting data ip out option. Easy to miss.
