How do you make AC run 64 bit?

Just like the title says. I see in the launcher that AC is running 32 bit by default. Can ac be ran 64 bit and if so how? Thanks

No you cant for now, in the future, yes.

Stelios is right, Assetto Corsa does not feature 64-bit systems. They are however working on it.

64bit version has been available for years now, this thread is from 2015.

just when I stopped playing it so wasn't sure but find lots of thread about it,
just come from rf2 where there actually is a 'clear' 64 bit launcher.
now I can see when launching track that I am running the 64 one.
but thx anyway, very helpful..

"Choose 32bit" or "Force 32bit" is a bit different. ( the last "bit" is not the same as the other ones ).
In the options it's the latter shown: so ... if your OS is 64bit, AC will automatically start in 64bit ... the most used nowadays.

So the option is only present for those who still have 32bit or wish to force 32bit in place of 64 for one or other private reason.

NB: this at least for the acs.exe ... as it seems the launcher is only 32bit according to the task manager.

Not Stefano, but... AC is 64b by default now. You can revert it to 32b, that's what you see in the settings menu. To make it (keep it) 64b simply don't check the 32b box.

Do you have an 32bit Windows as System? Other way I can’t explain why ac runs in 32bit
Like said above since years 64Bit is standart in AC
