Looks like a Steam issue to me, as it refers to games by ID rather than their title. Are you using shortcuts or the buttons in Steam itself?

Perhaps try a reinstall of the game if nothing else works. There is an easy way to do that without having to redownload, but I keep forgetting which files it is that you need to keep... maybe someone else knows?

Just delete your Race 07 folder and start Steam, the game will reload from Steam.
Make sure to move your extensive library of mods and addon tracks before doing it though!

Just some info too.....Always after a Steam update to the Race07 series, you "MUST" start your Race game "ALWAYS" with the Race07 desktop Icon first...Or none will work!!....Until, that is, after a PC reboot
