Headset for late night racing....

I need to invest in a decent headset specifically for late night racing and TS but not being knowledgeable in these things and overwhelmed at the array of different headsets out there
I come seeking advice and recommendations please...preferably USB and somewhere in the region of, or up to, £100 although maybe a little more for the right headset....quality is my main concern rather than price.

If you're looking for wired, @ £100, then these get rave reviews just about everywhere: HyperX Cloud II.
Personally, I prefer wireless because with wired I always run over the cable or try to strangle myself to death @ some point , so i'll be loooking @ these: Corsair Void ,these: Turtle Beach 450 or these: ROG Strix
