GTR2 & FOV

Can it be tweaked and if so how?

Game is still quite enjoyable and i would like to adjust the field of view to somewhat compensate for the fact that the game wasnt designed with widescreen monitors in mind. Allso is there anyway to tweak or mod the huds in GTR2 and GTL to compensate the streching ?

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Sorry to bump an old thread but there is a more thorough way to set FOV and it deals with editing the defviews.cam file. I had had to go through the process so I documented it on my blog.
