As we're about to start the second of eight races in the GTL league using the cars from the GTC65 class, lets have a look at the action from the first race rounfd the Algarve.. Here are some race highlights captured by Tim Ling - a regular club and league racer..

As you can see there was plenty of action right through the pack.. So congratulations to our winner Ross McGregor and the two runners up Dmytro Botnarenko and Knut Omdal Tvieto. This week its a tougher chanlenge for the bigger cars. We are going to the classic circuit of Anglesey. It is set on the west coast of Anglesey, overlooking the Irish Sea and Snowdonia mountain range beyond, and provides us with a challenging and exciting circuit set in a beautiful location. The circuit was completely redesigned in 2006 from the previous version, and the only philosophy in play was to utilise the topography and setting to maximise the enjoyment and challenge of the track. So good luck to all drivers..

On Thursday we have a quick trip across the water to Norway to the fabulous track Morirana, and what better cars than the Capri RS 2600 and 3100cc. We used this track last season in the league and by now the Capri should feel familiar to our regular club racers, so I'm expecting some close racing round this circuit.
