Game controllers swaping

Hi i have a problem with gsc in which it looses all the settings from my csr elite and my th8 shifter.

I have traced it to the game controller menu the wheel and the shifter swap between controller 1 and 2.

In the game this means i have to setup the shifter pedals wheel almost every time i turn the game on wich is very grating to say the least.

Please help is there anywhere i can specify where the controller will go.
