G25 Problem

I have 2 problems trying to get my G25 configured for rFactor
1) It feels like I'm driving on mashed potatoes, no road feel, very little FFB. I've downloaded and installed the controller settings posted in this forum but it's still bad

2) More seriously, every time I enter the controls menu to adjust anything I completely loose ALL feel and FFB from the wheel and I have to unplug the USB cable and plug it back in to get it back. Very annoying.

Any ideas or assistance would be greatly appreciated!!!!

I don't have the FFB turned on in rFactor for my momo. It's horrible. There will be no feel to the car, then it will shake the wheel out of my hand and be impossible to steer. You remember the old arcade racing games that they had at movie theaters that had FFB? The ones that seemed like they had random fits of anger and jerked the wheel around? It's like that.

Sean it took me a while to setup the wheel for rF. However, at the end it feels just like GTRE.
