They are only just up the road from me, I have just emailed to see if I can go try them out first. The one thing that does concern me a bit is that they don't recommend fitting if using just the standard carpet gripper due to extra force required.

Dave will almost certainly be happy to let you try them out in his showrrom. I have a Nixim rig for sale if you want something to secure the upgraded pedals to

You will need to make sure the pedal box is secure for sure as you will be putting more pressure into the brake, if you can't get a rig for whatever reason you will have to improvise and find some way of holding the pedal box in place, it will be well worth the effort though

You might want to have a look at this http://www.apelectrix.com/index.html it looks good value for money, I use PS3 and not sure if it will work ok as you can't calibrate as you can on a PC? if it does work on PS3/Xbox then definately worth a closer look.

this will work on xbox and ps3.... as it still uses the orignal sliderthingymebob

i have one and its good.....and even beter when you clean them.... just fixed my spiky gas pedal

yes I've seen these, same principle as the Nixim conversion but better quality and 5 times the price. The more I think about it the more attractive the fanatech pedals are.
