FIA WTCC to race Nürburgring Nordschleife in 2015

Being as the season has been pretty poor, it makes this announcement hard to get excited about. Sure, it's the Green Hell. But it's also WTCC. Who knows, this might be a step in the right direction.

WTCC reminds me a bit on the old DTM's, cars that are much more related to the real roadcar than todays DTM wich is actually more or less a prototype car from wich only the body shell matches in some kind of way.

It is great to see new car manufactures stepping in WTCC like Honda and Citroën. And what a move to go and held a race on historic ground and in the backyard of DTM.

I will have my portion of fun this weekend in Spa! But for spectators on grandstands Nordschleife will not offer many cars.
