Although I have been visiting quite some motorsport events in the last 20 years I've never been to a real life Formula 1 race.

Since some of you guys seem regular visitors to Formula One races I would like to know what is the best way or place to buy F1 tickets?

I could get you Silverstone tickets without a problem. Usually paddock passes too :p

But I know its quite a distance from you....

The BBC did an article about the price of Silverstone tickets compared to other races on the F1 calendar.

It seems that China, India, Malaysia, and surprisingly Monaco, rank at the bottom for price of the cheapest ticket. However I'd expect that the seats would probably be in an undesirable location. I was looking at tickets the other day - they're really pricey to Silverstone. I might try to get some passes to shoot event for work - however, they're notoriously hard to get.
