There's some sort of Event Handling possible in rF, if you look at GPC79 you'll find out that they use historical timescaled events like pitstops and retirements, I'm not sure how exactly they managed it but I think it is influenced by tracks/talent/physics all set in special combination. So you would have to rack up a season package first connect the talent files to the pit stop occurence and merge anything together. I'm not quite sure on how exactly it is done but a look into that particular mod might give you an idea on how to start.
