Yes, I really think so. It's understandable that they can't reveal everything to us, in order to maintain some sort of competitive edge. However, as a simracer who hasn't seen F1 racing pedals before, this video has revealed so much information.

Here's what I picked up:
- Tailoring the pedals to fit each driver is very important.
- Those guards at the edge of the pedals are there to help secure the feet at all times.
- It's interesting how the accelerator pedal lacks a guard at the right edge. My guess is that it allows the driver to primarily use their big toe for better partial throttle control.

I think these details reveal how much thought is put into each pedal set to ensure that the drivers maintain maximum control throughout all inputs.

The electronic throttle is interesting, too. They're probably similar to sim racing throttle pedals; I'm guessing that the throttle curve can be mapped to improve the driver's relationship with the engine.

I really like the grip tape idea. I'm probably going to use that on my street car.
