downgearing cause hiccups ?

hi when i downgear or do something that makes a big change of sound volume the ac game then it hiccups.
on board soundcard.

would a external soundcard help?
or is it something else ?

A sound card would probably help, since it is a different sound card, but that doesn't mean that there is something wrong with your on-board one. It is probably some driver misbehaving, the first thing I would do is re-install the sound drivers from your motherboard cd, or check their site for updated drivers.

I've got MSI Gaming 5 Z97 with the same sound chipset Realtek ALC1150 and works without a problem. Have you tried "Latency" slider in Audio options? Is it only AC related?

No i thougt it only was for crackled sounds.
i will try it .

it is just one hiccup and it happens when i downgear, not ever downgearing i think it is when i have very high revs.
