I had a couple back in teh eighties, but a console is a single purpose device which required a TV for display, where a PC can do many things besides play games and I can still watch TV while using it.

Lol, by now there are probably at least 75000 applicants. But I rank such promo items along with the, to me, inexplicable desire to pay to wear a shirt with a logo on it (any company must pay for advertising space, whether on a sign, in a magazine, or on a website ....why then aren't we paid to wear clothing with their logo).
