Do AI suffer Tyre Wear ?

Because i get the impression they don't which is a bit of a bummer, their times dont seem to drop off etc

Anyone able to clarify on this ?

heard this before and was a bug on the original 2010 version at first as well.

Not sure yet, I only just started a stock V8 championship, 40 minute races, and I did get the impression they were easier to catch after about 15 laps. Most of them pitted at about 20 to 30 minutes, but cannot say if it was for fuel or tyre wear. I decided to pit due to tyre wear, so it could be they had the same problem. I need to do more races before I get an idea of what is happening.

It would be relatively easy to judge, by running some races with x2 x3 x4 tyre wear and see if they pit earlier each time

There is AI tyre wear set yes.
