DIY 7" Tablet Dashboard (Simhub)

Just made a DIY Tablet Dashboard with a Nexus 7 (2013) which has 7".

Did some drawing in ACAD and some laser cutting, i chose a 1,5 mm stainless steel plate.
Then i bought some suction cup for a few € and bought the Nexus 7 tablet for about 25€ on ebay.
Everything is powered with Simhub.

well it wasn't that expensive since i've acess to a laser cutter. Only paid a few euroes for the material.

Is the tablet connected by USB or wifi?

I have just upgraded from my old nexus and this would be a great use for it.
