My Thrustmaster TMX pro wheel simply stopped working last week and no longer seemed to have power or be detected by Windows and TM software. Assuming a power or electrical problem, I dismantled it and even took it to the local game fix joint. All tested OK electrically, but still not working. Then I happened on this firmware hack from Thrustmaster:
I reloaded firmware and it's good as new. Bizarre. Hope this can help someone out.
