in the PLR file under (Multiplayer Options) change the:
NET FLUSH THRESHOLD setting to 520

GTR2 Crashes or rather freezes ?
The problem may also come from the use of ENBseries plugin.

@GTR233 already confirmed it in another post ... and I can confirm that once this plugin uninstalled Alt-Tab is then working perfectly again.
ENBseries plugin,

"I recall that ALT-TAB was broken with ENBseries plugin, that is why I removed it from hq anniversary patch long time ago."

Doesn't work.

It crashes. I have only downloaded XD and Map plugin. I even had this problem before installing the plugins.

Do you have CrewChief installed ?
Maybe you might try this feature that you'll find in the Graphics of CrewChief.ini

ALT+TAB from the main menus should not be a problem, but from any 3D screen will cause issues, including the menu appearing from ESC on the track (track is still visible so game still in 3D mode).

So how can I deactivate 3D mode while the game is paused or there is no way?
