Bit of trivia. When Chevrolet introduced the Nova in South America they were quite disappointed with sales. Numerous promotions and advertising campaigns were tried, to no avail. Til they learned "nova" in the local dialects translates to "they don't go".

Another example, In South America and here in Spain is the Mitsubishi Pajero was sold as Mitsubishi Montero,because in Spanish Pajero is a dirty word, of course I'll not going to write here what it means in order to avoid any problems. If you are a bit curious, just search the word on Google.

Taken from a September calendar page derived from the original advertising created by legendary duo Van Kaufman and Art Fitzpatrick. Fitzpatrick painted the cars and Kaufman rendered the settings separately, the car image being glued down to the background.
