Until this mod was announced i didnt even knew these models were still in production until 1999.

Although I really like the current MINI (maxi?) model a lot it would be great if BMW would really go nuts one more time and release a true retro model like the one above.

Correction: The original Mini was still in production until October 4th 2000. The Mini entered production on August 26th 1959.

Bram, if BMW does that one day, it will be a best seller.

Arguably the biggest changes in the Mini's history came in '97, with a few final tweaks in 2000 before the end of production. That means that David's car will have a different interior and other details to mine. You can read all about that stuff in the pdf when the mod releases.
