Apps - Layer Setting?

Greetings all,

I'm using an app which overlays a helmet onto the cockpit cam for a bit of extra immersion. The problem is that while some of the stock apps I use appear on top of the overlay, others appear beneath it meaning they can't be seen. Is there a setting somewhere which determines how the apps are layered so that I can put the helmet overlay at the bottom, and everything else on top?

Only thing I can think of is the option in the AC main settings to allow apps to overlap, but not sure if that would do what you need.
