Anyone tried this ? Solved cpu warning for me until now.

I already mentioned this in the "CPU Occupancy 95% " thread, but because it may be overlooked there I make a separate thread about it. I hope that that is not a problem.
I found this article
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/faq/id-1939190/increase-fps-cpu-intensive-games-windows.html
and tried the application that is mentioned there and can be found here:
http://coderbag.com/Programming-C/CPU-core-parking-manager
(which is the new beta version btw).
Until now I also had the cpu warning very often, even on low settings and with no more than 10 AI opponents. After "unparking" all 4 cores of my Intel i5 4590 cpu with the tool, I haven't seen it anymore until now. Moreover I could increase the settings considerably without a noticable loss of fps.
I tried a few races with the Fiat Abarth at Magione and 16 opponents and with Smoke Normal, AF 4x, AA 8x, I got FPS min. 57, max 94 and average of 76.
So maybe it is worth trying ?

Before anybody tries to improve the FPS this way, it would be best to see if the cores are actually getting parked while in game.

To check for that, in Windows Task Manager (ctrl+shift+esc) switch to performance tab -> resource monitor button -> in the new window switch to CPU tab and on the right there will be a list of all cores - if any one will have "CPU# - parked" (or something similar) while the game runs, the above method might help. Otherwise unparking cores manually will only increase power consumption, at no real gain.
