The Steam Winter Sale 2023 is here, and with it come a number of discounts on racing games and simulations. Here’s what is on offer until January 4, 2024.

As per usual, the Steam Winter Sale 2023 is a great opportunity for fans of racing games and sim racers to expand their libraries. Discounts of up to 90% mean big savings for a few possible digital Christmas gifts to friends – or yourself, of course.
Most of the popular sims are on the list. Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione in various versions sport juicy discounts that even apply to select DLC packs. Similarly, the likes of Automobilista 2 and rFactor 2 can be had for much less than usual.
After not having much on offer during November’s Autum Sale in terms of DLC, rF2 fans can now look forward to discounts on ten extra content packs. Interestingly, the IndyCar pack (discounted by 50%) is part of this lineup, including the series’ logo, implying that the license that IndyCar intends to pull is stil with Motorsport Games at this point.
Meanwhile, the more recent releases of Forza Motorsport and EA Sports WRC are also available in the Steam Winter Sale 2023. Fans of indie games will be happy to see the likes of art of rally, Circuit Superstars, Karting Superstars or Super Woden GP being part of the sale as well. Note: iRacing is also part of the sale, offering subscription discounts of 26% for one month, -28% for six months and -33% for a full year. However, subscriptions bought via Steam tend to cause problems with the service. It is advisable to grab the iRacing Holiday Sale deal instead, which grants half off any new membership until January 5, 2024.
