rFactor 2 Online week 10 reaches the sim at a crucial time. With the longevity of Motorsport Games still up for debate, the coming weeks of rFactor 2 content will be important for the sim’s survival.

Week 10 has landed and, unfortunately, hasn’t been met with an encouraging response from the community. With car and track combinations starting to repeat themselves from previous weeks, especially in the Rookies category, rFactor 2 Online’s week 10 is not off to a flying start.

rFactor 2 Online has been up and running since the beginning of October. However, if you are new to the fray, let us catch you up on what rFactor 2 Online is and how to get started.

This unlocks access to the intermediate events.

Intermediate Races – Every 2 Hours

The intermediate races are getting more popular as a growing number of players graduate from the rookie categories every week. The continuation of the F3 sprint series is a welcomed return addition to the open-wheel calendar. To follow them, the debut of LMP3 at Daytona is sure to spice up proceedings.

F3 Sprint

  • Cars: Tatuus MSV F3-020
  • Track: Brands Hatch (GP)

Prototype Challenge

  • Cars: Norma M30 LMP3 & Liger JS P320 LMP3
  • Track: Daytona International Road Course

Advanced Races – Every 3 Hours

In a similar tone to the intermediate races, the advanced races used to struggle to fill out multiple splits. However, with the full version of the online mode released a while back now, expect to see full lobbies across the splits. With the ever-popular IndyCar Sprint Series making a return in rotation, grids are almost guaranteed to be lively.

IndyCar Sprint Series

  • Cars: IndyCar Dallara – IR18
  • Track: Imola 2018

I have started racing in these competitions a few days ago. For now, I'm really enjoying it. The three races I made were clean so far. My SR is progressing. Simply wondering, as there is no number put against ratings, how many races should I expect complete to have a chance to race in Silver categories?

It really depends on how lucky you are :)

It you compete in the special events, you will gain more SR.
If you stick to the beginner races, I think I did about 10...15 races before I got to silver from memory.

The silver ranked races use DLC as well as free content.
I like the car choice more - the Mini last week was a hoot to drive

Unfortunately, there is no exact number. It depends on way too many factors. An average number would be 10-12 Perfect races in a row.
