iRacing‘s latest content update arrived 5 December at the start of 2023 Season 4’s Week 13, with plenty of new additions coming both with content and changes. Mugello was added along with the Audi R8 LMS Evo II GT3 and Slinger Speedway.
On the changes side, there are now 3D kerbs, AI Racing Improvements and even changes to surfaces when driving off-track. For everything you need to know about the latest title update, watch our video courtesy of our very own Emily Jones.
But the day after 2024 Season 1 officially began, you may have noticed there is a new update. Here is everything included in the 13 December update to iRacing.
Additionally, after 14 cars got the new damage model, two more have joined them, these being two classic Lotus Grand Prix cars in the form of the 49 and 79. There has also been improved audio levels to account for the addition of the 3D kerbs. Finally for Italian players, two new spotter audio packs are available.
Additionally, there are a couple of cars that got the new damage model that had a few unintended features as a result. Examples include the Dirt Street Stock, Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO and SK Modified Car/NASCAR Whelen Tour Modified. Also the Legacy NASCAR Cup cars of the 2009 Chevrolet Impala, 2013 Chevrolet SS and 2016 Ford Fusion.
Then of course for tracks, this includes all the ones that either were added or saw changes in the latest title update. These being Mugello, Slinger Speedway and Okayama, a whole range of changes were made.
