Asetek SimSports Launches RaceHub 3.0 Software

The latest update unlocks customised LED use on Asetek’s wheel bases, steering wheels and pedals.

Since Asetek SimSport’s first foray into sim racing back in 2022, it continues to evolve its product line, accessories and this week, its complimentary software.

RaceHub, which allows, via a PC, sim racers to alter parameters and customise inputs has been upgraded to version ‘3.0’ - and with it arrives a slew of fresh features.

Chief of which is the ability for the LED strips that run down the side of the Invicta and Forte wheel bases can be used to display (up to eight) in-race warning flags. The same feature can now also be applied to every light on an LED-equipped Asetek steering wheel or pedal set simultaneously.

The LEDs can also be used to show other game data, such as if the ABS or traction control systems are in use. This is for supported titles, a list of which is in the software.

Other additions include now being able to change the optional shift light colour on a steering wheel and control the volume of an optimal shift point noise.

The last point on the lighting options is the ability to select from various idle modes – the LEDS working in patterns and a mix of colours while your setup awaits your input.

For those who would like to get down to granular detail with brake setups, the braking map menu has been overhauled allowing for greater fine-tuning too.

The latest official game of the FIA World Endurance Championship, Le Mans Ultimate, is now natively supported through the software.

The full list of updates is below, but it doesn’t stop there...

“This is of course not the end, we plan on supporting stuff years into the future,” said Kenneth Brandt, Lead Front End Developer, Asetek SimSports.

“Of course, for the next [4.0] version of RaceHub, we’re going to focus on the Invicta Wheel, display support, all that jazz.

“Then for 5.0, we’re going to take some of the most requested features and really focus on making what you guys want.”

The mythical range-topping Invicta wheel has not yet been seen publicly and is expected later this year with a built-in screen.
