Dedicated Server for GTL

  1. In your main gtl folder you will see the dedi server .exe
  2. fire up dedi server (run as ADMIN)
  3. 1st page
  4. chose a car class or all classes
  5. choose cars
  6. click next
  7. 2nd Page
  8. select a track or tracks
  9. tick broadcast in lobby
  10. connection type custom
  11. how many cars to allow in the server (depends on conection)
  12. click next
  13. 3rd page
  14. create name
  15. create password
  16. black flag
  17. failures normal
  18. (tyre wear and fuel wear ore the wrong way round its a known fault with the server.)
  19. set Fuel Use
  20. set Tyre Use
  21. Set Diffuculty
  22. auto clucth auto gears tick to use
  23. sessions choose what you want
  24. start time of race 1300 hours (this is the time of day the race will start not the practice and qually)
  25. PRESS START
  26. fire up gtlegends and find the server just like you do for a club race.
  27. you may need the ports open in your firewall to be able to connect.
  28. Some routers modems have firewalls that cant be altered and connection is not possible even with firewall ports open on your pc..
  29. http://portforward.com/ is a good website to find info on your modems
