4WD cars are the best option or, if you are good, also RWD. As advise, I can suggest you to lose some time to set your wheel parameters in such a way to have the best response during slides. You'll find benefit on normal tracks too.
I got great benefit from it in term of feeling.

If someone can provide winter skin, it's not difficult to build a proper grip layout but I'm not able to make skin :D
