Great track, awesome work... I have some fps drops in the replays, mostly when the car is close to the camera... I'd love to make a video of this track but those drops are keeping from doing it.

Awesome track and stunning quality. You don't perhaps feel compelled to do a version of the Kyalami Grand Prix circuit? I may be able to get my hands on lazer scan data of the modern track. A period version is also a great alternative...

Very, very good, looks amazing, definietly five stars.

One note though: I dont know if im crazy, but i felt the track has too much grip. I usually test with the FXX K, and I felt I can flat out corners that i shouldnt have, or shorter brakes that I would anticipated. (Every assist off). But maybe I just got the gist of it with the car.

Anyway, it doesnt matter, its a really good track!! Thanks.

Grip should be the same as Kunos tracks, with the exception of the pitlane, which has higher grip than normal to allow the AI cars to navigate the 180° turn without sliding off into the trees >.<

Try 'Dusty' or 'Old' if you like it slippy ;-)

I followed the mod development thread a bit and was astonished by the previews. I hoped it could live up to my expectations and man, it sure does ! I love old race tracks a lot and you really get that vibe here. Especially with those wooden "structures" etc.. Love the detail of leaves on the track edges too.

Having raced online last night the only thing that felt wrong was getting penalties when running wide sometimes. Not even sure I went over the line with 3 wheels but must have. You are not gaining an advantage this way I suppose and you end up in the trees a bit further anyway. So that feels unnecessary to me. Mostly went wide because I was learning the track though.

This is something completely different from what we have in AC currently. Thanks a lot for this amazing mod !!

Thank you very much for the kind words. I am absolutely stoked that people seem to enjoy this track as much as I do :D I have lived in a tiny 'Thomson Road' bubble for the last 4 months, knowing how much I loved the track but not really considering anyone else's opinion of it. Comments like yours feel great to read and spur me on to work as hard on my next project.

I agree about the penalties; this is something that a friend of mine has already mentioned to me. It's a shame that it wasn't raced online in the beta stage, but I am already looking at ways to improve this 'feature', hopefully in a more realistic way than just 'no penalties' (probably only penalties at specific points where you could gain an advantage). I hope it doesn't spoil your fun too much for now, though.

Wow , Awsome , 10 stars , wonderfull track , stunning graphics , one of the best old add on circuits in AC .....lot of fun with te old Porsches to drive.......looking forward what updates will do....thanks very much ......go on!
