SimHub Driver Info Display 1

I made a Driver Info Display replica that I like to share.

With the hope of some one else having some fun making one and maybe improving it, and as i made my with no intention of sharing it the instructions are not great - sorry



I have matched it as good as I can to the original, and tried to figure out what screens are presented in reality but I guess there are different versions and not all Flags are present in SimHub. And the one I have is flipped 180 degrees as it fitted my rig better.



The label is printed on normal papper, and then I added two layers of scotch tejp to give it the correct look.

And the LED is shining true the label to give it a diffused effect.



Know issues:

According to the instructions the LED shall shine Green if not data is received, and turn blue when getting data, however in the ACC its permanently blue.

But as I am using the Arduino bright from Simhub to control the Screen as well as the LED the LED don’t turn off when the screen goes in to sleep mode.

Therefore I programed it to blink when there is a an announcement true Simhub. There is a Enhasment at Simhub Github that is hopfully pland to be implemented.


And I made so that the Screen shows “Final Lap” when the session time is ended, but the game have better telemetry so sometime the game shows a finishing flag when I see a Final lap… but I hope ther is someone that know a good wotharound or solution
