This is the Honda RA301. A Formula 1 car from 1968. Still a work in progress. Please take it for a spin and give me some feedback!

3d model: Emil_1988, RCCDesign (only some modified meshes from his Ferrari 312B) (wip)

Textures: Emil_1988, Kunos (Only tyre tread, slightly modified) Will be updated! (wip)

Physics: Emil_1988 (wip)

nice car, but the first skin (Surtees Monaco) still has wings... Is it possible to get it without wings?

Thank you! Unfortunately it's not possible to do that to different skins. But if you select 0 wings on the setup they disappear from the car.

The model on loading says the collider.kn5 requires a missing DLC. I guess that is some kind of protection how do I unblock it?

it is a shame that my pc unable to drive this car, I don't know why, both the direct folder and the content manager cannot load this car, and it is always has a problem in content manager, with a warning pattern.

Absolutely gorgeous model of one of my all time favorite open-wheelers, has a few things that would still need adjusting, but throwing it around tracks and having some downforce over the RA300 makes it feel all the more special.
The ABS bug not only disabled all brakes, but seems to cause a weird shifting issue with the force feedback. Very much looking forward to see how this mod continues.

I can't seem to get it to work with my laptop. Most other cars work fine and I've got Custom Shader Patch as well?

I've tried copying the directory directly into the cars directory and also used Content Manager as well.

Fallen in love. Who the hell is bazza. I would give you 6 stars if I could. Best vintage F1 racer ever. And also a good first pick. I always liked hondas high-rev low-torque engine.

i like it a lot. However i can´t use it because i play with controller and TC and ABS won´t work properly, once this issue is fixed i think this could be one of my fav mods

Model looks fantastic, not sure how accurate the sound is but it does sound cool. Some cleanup: The mirrors are reversed, should be swapped, other than that the car performs great

Thank you for the review! No the sound needs more work for sure. I'm no good at soundmodding. And this car is hard to get good recordings from. Will fix the mirrors! =)

At first I thought it needs some more work on the physics-side. But it just needed some more work on my "getting used to it"-side, because I am used to the 67 cars, but this one is 1.1s faster than the RA 300 in Zandvoort after just a few laps and a bit of personal setup-work. After some more laps I really felt at home in the RA301. I can't wait for the wings to arrive. It looks fantastic already.

Thanks for this. Has that beautiful 60's feel to it and I'm around 1-2 seconds quicker than the GPL 67'cars which I guess is about right.

Hope you make the future wings optional ? Like with the excellent Formula 1970 ?

Great little car. Be sure to shut off the abs if you want brakes. Goes great with Tyrone's release today of the 1954 Austrailian Gran Prix

Keep it up brow! I loved your 312B, even though as u said, it still on a WIP phase. This Honda has a really promising future.

Specially if it is one of the most important eras of F1, the time when aero and wings became something that F1 constructors began to see as essential to the future of motorsport
