Despite most of the drivers knowing DiRT Rally stages by heart and DiRT4 on the horizon I decided to release a tool for creating your own customized pacenotes. There are two co-drivers to choose at the moment (Maciek Handwerker(PL) and Nicky Grist(GB)) but more can easily be added (if someone has sound files ready then it takes a couple of minutes to implement into DRCP - instructions are included in 'co-drivers' folder).
After unpacking run DRCP.exe, launch DiRT Rally, set the Speech volume to 0 (sorry Paul) and fire up Sweet Lamb. You should hear your new co-driver's voice after leaving the start-line (his volume can be altered in your system's Volume Control panel. There is only a handful of commands created as a demo, the rest is up to the drivers.
If the app doesn't work (the command prompt window disappears) then edit 'Documents\My Games\DiRT Rally\hardwaresettings\hardware_settings_config.xml' file by changing extradata to 3. You can also add an extra line to allow Telemetry Tool run alongside DRCP:
<udp enabled="true" extradata="3" ip="127.0.0.1" port="10001" delay="1" />
<udp enabled="true" extradata="3" ip="127.0.0.1" port="20777" delay="1" />
[Pacenotes Editor (DRPE.jar) comes with manual via Menu-Help. Unfortunately it requires installed Java RE to run. Use Telemetry Tool to see current distance on track.] - Pacenotes Editor is bugged atm and your custom pacenotes will not work with DRCP unless first white space after the comma is deleted for every distance. This will be fixed in the next version of DRCP, which is coming soon. I do apologize.
There is no fiddling with game files involved so the tool can be safely used online (it is a separate app, just like Telemetry Tool).
Big thanks to versedi!
