Number five of the 1923 Tours cars, only one more to go. Another one that has very little technical information available so expect lots of guessing, both educated and uneducated.
It was given a whacking great airplane engine after it's short Grand Prix career and still survives today as the Bequet Delage, which was handy for finding views of parts I couldn't see in the original photos from Tours - although apart from the obvious difference with the engine there are a lot of smaller differences between the two versions so I've tried to keep as close as possible to the original Tours car:
Sound is from an 8 cylinder Delage but for once I'm actually quite pleased with the audio, I feel like it captures the snarling power of these cars quite well so forgive the lapse in accuracy.
As usual if you find any errors or problems please let me know, constructive criticism is always welcome, and have fun with another old banger.
Little vid of the car in action:
Happy racing,
Liam (aka Nicecuppatea)
EDIT: You need to download the 1923 driver if you haven't already got it, AC should substitute another driver if you haven't but that doesn't seem to work for some people. https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/1923-driver-model.38827/
ANOTHER EDIT: See the discussion thread for help if you have problems with the game crashing, it's most likely to do with Shader Patch and the upcoming RainFX.
OH GOD NOT ANOTHER EDIT: Totally forgot to mention that I added in some set-up adjustment for the dampers. It's a bit unrealistic and I've no idea of what sort of range it should cover but it's there if you want to have a play with it.
