now that’s the end result… a proper beater. Visually I reworked the skin, detailed all lights and the chrome, updated the badges and the wheels. Then came the engine, pushed to a realistic race-spec-level output of 198hp… updated transmission, 5 gears with customized ratio, balanced suspension etc. I don’t remember all the bits, but I always focused on real data and behaviour. Last not least: the SOUND. Made from real recordings, it’s… glorious. Loud and screamy, this is the one car you hardly hear the co-driver when you’re going full throttle
Behaviour: stable, slight understeering that can easily be corrected by applying the throttle – then you change into a fine, manageable drift. Good damping, but on bumpy stages the suspension slider should be set towards soft. Low suspension, if you’re uncomfortable with the wheels showing up through the arches when deflecting in turns, you can raise the ride-height in the “car.ini”. For installation read the included readme-file.
Bear in mind that the driving behaviour may differ, depending on your input (wheel/gamepad/keyboard) and your RT-settings in the controller menu.
