BLM Car

In order to use the app you MUST have installed the Custom Shaders Patch

If you're using the amazing Sol by @Peter Boese but still want to have BLM Car to control rain and wipers, you have to disable this option in Sol settings: page 4, 'weather set rain automatically'

also check in the Sol Plan Selector app these settings are unckecked:

What is BLM Car?
A new app that allows you to set many things you get with the shaders patch by x4fab and henter (thank you guys!) (and also adds something else ):

rain (even with random intensity)
wipers (even intermittent)
mirrors
car repositioning (reset, step back)

To be able to adjust mirrors, remember to enable (set to 1) REAL_MIRRORS in the related extension config file (or activate SMART MIRRORS extensions in the CSP extensions pages):

Starting and stopping rain also starts (can be disabled) and stops wipers
Starting wipers starts rain, but stopping wipers doesn't stop rain (you might want to enjoy rain without wipers on...)

Cycle through the mirrors with the orange switch and adjust position, FOV and Aspect Ratio. Also enable/disable mirror as Monitor (car is not shown in mirrors).

You can reset car position.
From shaders patch notes: "reset car to the track or go 300 meters back (only works offline in single car sessions, invalidates laps)"

You can cycle different rain intensity or you can have random rain.
Set each interval duration (default is 0.5 ~20 seconds) in the

Content Manager > settings > apps > BLM Car settings:

Set LOW values for faster changes. This is, more or less, the time duration for some values:

You can set minimum and maximum range for rain intensity during random rain, and choose to display a short message that indicates the duration of the current period (or even a shorter one with just the seconds)

You got an option (ON by default) to auto start rain when app launches

You can enable intermittent wipers (disable if you don't want them).
Set the duration of each intermitten cycle in the options. Default is 3.5 seconds (min. 2.5, max 5 seconds). If you got intermittent wipers and it stops raining, when it starts raining again wipers also restart as intermittent.
Known issue: when random switching rain intensity, wipers stop 'intermitting' (wipe at normal speed) till the transition is done.
Not my fault, we can live with it

There also are hotkeys (that can be edited in the settings) for:

Wipers (ALT + W)

Rain (ALT + R)

Car step-back (ALT + S)

Car Reset (ALT + E)

NO RAIN (ALT + N)
