STC: rSeat 45 Minutes of Interlagos Preview by MIR

The STC teams have hotfooted it from Florida to South America for the 'Samba' of the season - the 45 Minutes of Interlagos. The race takes place at one of the iRacing's most recent tracks, the much-loved Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace, where Championship battles up and down the field will be decided tomorrow.

Our racing apparel sponsor MIR Raceline and Radicals Online offer you this hotlap commented by Jake Sanson:

The 2.6-mile track is famous for being one of the oldest circuits in F1, having hosted its first world championship grand prix in 1973, but it's also used extensively for different Brazilian national categories. It's been altered and became safer since the 70's, but it retains much of its original character. It's bumpy, undulating and narrow, and more important, it's anti-clockwise and dangerous, with a history of serious accidents some of them as recent as lethal. The track is located 875 metres above sea level, making it one the highest venues on the world.

The first round saw how ineX racing took the lead 23 points ahead of Radicals Online, both of them with some of their best drivers on track, with Dannielsson Motorsports Virtual on third place closely followed by a surprising Walk Racing that performed an epic race on the mixed surface of Sebring.

With new line-ups and new names coming into play, this second round promises to be as interesting as the first one where more than 1500 persons followed the live broadcast.

Follow the race on Thrusday, April 20th from 18:45 GMT and chat with the audience HERE.
