Help getting racer 0.5.0 to work on windows 98FE

I cant get racer to work on windows 98 First Edition...It says Dinput8.dll is missing, so i got the dll, and now it says dinput8.dll expects a newer version of windows. UGHHHHHHHH!!!

Not sure why you're using such an outdated OS. But if you must, supposedly Windows 98 can support up to 9.0c (not sure if this is first or second edition specific). So I'd try to find and install at least DirectX 8, if not 9.0c.
