hi all,
I want ask to all of you a point of view over the wtcc 2006 cars in the game.

I'm writing a guide for our users and we have a chapter for the cars details.
Personally I always drove the same car so I don't know all the other cars in the game.

Write your personal point of you on all the cars you know.

Something like that:

Alfa 156
+ Hight straight line speed
+ .. .. ...
- Oversteer under positive throttle
- .. .. ...

Thanks in advance to everyone!
PS: I'll mention the RPM Forum in the guide's credit for sure !!!
:)

maybe i can add some extra info for leon's forgiveness:

+ really easy for quick recovery in spin's/bad powerslide
(sliding in 90 degrees or more of angle .....just keep gassing it :) & counter steer)
+ really good brakes (can compete most of the times (or sometimes) with the bmw's braking/entering the corner)

also the others:

Chevrolet Lacetti
+ good allrounder (similar to Leon)
- not as fast as Leon

Honda Accord Euro R
+ speed similar to Alfa
+ handling similar to Leon
- durabililty not great in longer races

Peugeot 407
+ decent handling
- feels heavy and unresponsive
- slowest car of all

SEAT Toledo/Alfa 156 GTA/BMW 320i E46
+ similar to their newer versions
- seem to lack a little in every area
- (Toledo only) feels unresponsive
- (E46 only) hard to master, unforgiving

Having been a Chevy guy all my life I figured I would try to give the old Bow Tie some seat time for the series. The first time I drove the thing was the Monza race weekend, went to start it and leave the garage and the thing died......twice. I was laughing so hard I had tears, too realistic. After about 5 minutes I regained my composer and got out on the track, not bad handling, not great either. Going down the first long straight I noticed I had a flat spot in the revs, again started laughing so hard I crashed on the straight. It reminded me of a number of winter beater Chevies I owned back in the day, I also knew that I was totally screwed against those nice revving euro sporty cars..............it was going to be a long season. Next race season Kingspeed is going euro, I wish Toyota had dog in this hunt, 'cause I sure would like to race something made in the USA.

lol mate, and so spake the sage from Texas, love it, keep that Chevy running! (Though I must admit WTTC driver Ron Huff referred to his as "that blue bus" ts ts ts)

Never drove a bus so I don't know, but I've driven a Checker Marathon and that thing definetly drives like a taxi cab.
